As a Staff Engineer, your goal is to develop a system which enables achieving Galadriel's mission of creating the world's largest distributed LLM inference network.

• System design: You have been instrumental in the design and architecture of Galadriel’s backend, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and meets user requirements.
• Testing and security: You have advanced our testing and security infrastructure, enabling rapid and reliable deployment of new versions.
• Developer experience: You have greatly improved the experience for developers on Galadriel, ensuring all features are clear, well-documented, and intuitive. Developers find Galadriel easy to understand and build on, with minimal unexpected issues.
• Performance optimization: You have conducted performance experiments and optimizations, providing concrete metrics and pushing the boundaries of what Galadriel can achieve.
• Collaboration and mentorship: You have mentored other engineers and collaborated effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Experience

You have previously architected, built and deployed distributed system at scale.

Requirements

• Ability to architect and build a scalable backend from ground zero
• Proficiency in languages like Python, Go or Java
• Understanding of distributed and concurrent services
• Great knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate complex blockchain concepts and solutions
• Strong systems thinking
